Michele Lorenzetti began dedicating himself to biodynamic viticulture in 2004. After gaining significant experience in the field, he established the Terre Di Giotto wine estate located in Tuscany.

The vineyard spans approximately 3 hectares, with altitudes ranging between 300 and 600 meters above sea level. The cultivated grape varieties include Chenin Blanc, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, and of course, Sangiovese.

These vines are grown on deep clay soils, which is characteristic of the region. Lorenzetti practices a pragmatic and rational approach to viticulture, emphasizing direct experience and scientific research.

The Terre Di Giotto project reflects a strong connection with the history and tradition of the Mugello region. Michele Lorenzetti was inspired by the history of viticulture in the area, dating back to the time of the Medici and the introduction of French grape varieties by Vittorio degli Albizi in the 19th century.

Lorenzetti’s goal is not only to produce high-quality wines but also to promote and preserve sustainable and biodynamic viticultural practices in the region.

In summary, Terre Di Giotto is a biodynamic wine estate that combines tradition, history, and modern, sustainable agricultural practices to produce a variety of natural and distinctive wines.
