I was captivated by this very ancient family estate located at the boundary of the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune, whose history has notably been shaped by women.
Five generations have succeeded each other since 1890, and it was in 1993 that Damien joined forces with his mother after completing his viticultural training and spending 10 months in California.
Today, Damien and his wife Liselotte manage the 18 hectares spread across several municipalities, primarily planted with Pinot Noir.
The entire vineyard is cultivated according to a philosophy of respect for the soil and the vine, thus allowing the terroir to fully express itself and each vintage to release its own story and unique characteristics.
The estate offers us wines of great elegance. Depending on the terroirs, you will find aromas of red fruits, underbrush, and spices for the Pinot Noirs.
Aromas of white flowers, citrus, or even green almonds will finely accompany the roundness of their Chardonnays.
