The Domaine de la Meulière, located in Fleys, is a family-run wine estate with a history dating back to 1779. Today, it is led by brothers Nicolas and Vincent Laroche. This estate spans 25 hectares in a village situated just 4 km from Chablis, towards Tonnerre.

The uniqueness of its terroir lies in its Kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils, which, in synergy with the Chardonnay grape variety, give the wines a distinctive minerality as well as floral and fruity aromas.

The estate consists of 34 plots spread across the communes of Béru, Chablis, Chichée, Fontenay, and Fleys, all located on the right bank of the Serein. These plots, half of which were inherited from their ancestors, reflect the continuity and commitment to the family’s winemaking tradition.

The average age of the vines is 32 years, and the harvest is done manually to preserve the quality of the grapes.

In terms of certification, the estate is recognized for its High Environmental Value (level 3), guaranteeing sustainable and reasoned viticulture, which takes into account soil biodiversity, water resource management, and the reduction of greenhouse gases, among other eco-responsible practices.

I invite you to discover with delight my selection of wines from the estate and vintages.
